Master Zilita's Pomodoro Timer to boost productivity with customizable work/break intervals.
The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method that uses focused work intervals followed by short breaks. Zilita's Pomodoro Timer makes this technique easy — with customizable intervals, automatic break reminders, and session tracking. Everything runs in your browser with no account needed.
Open the Pomodoro Timer. By default, the timer is set to 25 minutes for focused work and 5 minutes for short breaks. You can adjust these durations using the + and - buttons or by clicking the time display and entering a custom value. Long break defaults to 15 minutes, typically used after four completed pomodoros.
Click the “Start” button to begin your first work session. The timer counts down visually with both a circular progress indicator and a numeric display. A subtle notification sound plays when the session ends (you can mute this in settings). The page title updates to show remaining time, so you can track progress even when switching tabs.
When the work session ends, the timer automatically switches to break mode. A short notification appears with options to start your break or dismiss it. During breaks, you can step away from your desk, stretch, or do a quick non-work activity. When the break ends, the timer resets for the next work session.
The timer displays a session counter showing how many pomodoros you've completed today. Each completed cycle is visually marked. After four pomodoros, the timer prompts a longer break (15 minutes by default). Your session count resets daily but persists in local storage so you can close and reopen the page.
Click the gear icon to open settings. Here you can:
