Strong passwords are your first line of defense against unauthorized access. Zilita's Password Generator creates cryptographically secure passwords using your browser's built-in crypto APIs. Unlike online password generators that might send your passwords over the network, Zilita generates everything locally — your passwords are never transmitted, logged, or stored anywhere.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Choose Password Length

Open the Password Generator. Use the slider or input field to set your desired password length. The default is 16 characters — a good balance between security and memorability. You can choose anywhere from 4 to 128 characters. Longer passwords are more secure but harder to type manually.

Step 2: Select Character Types

Toggle the character sets you want to include:

• Uppercase Letters — A–Z (26 characters)
• Lowercase Letters — a–z (26 characters)
• Numbers — 0–9 (10 characters)
• Symbols — !@#$%^&*()_+-=[]|;:,./<>?~ (32+ characters)
• Ambiguous Characters — Optionally exclude characters like l, 1, O, 0 that look similar in some fonts
