Explore Zilita's browser-based AI tools including the Humanizer, CBC Lesson Planner, AI Writing Assistant, and more.
The AI Workspace is Zilita's collection of browser-based AI tools accessible from a single interface. Instead of forcing one generic text box to do everything, the workspace provides specialized modules for different tasks: humanizing AI text, checking grammar, translating content, writing blog posts, generating CBC lesson plans, and more. All AI processing happens locally on your device using WebAssembly and WebGPU.
The AI Humanizer transforms robotic AI-generated text into content that sounds natural and human-like. Adjust tone, creativity level, and vocabulary complexity to match your audience. The side-by-side diff view shows exactly what changed.
The Writing Assistant helps you draft, rewrite, and polish text for emails, articles, social media posts, and more. Choose from templates, set the desired length and tone, and get suggestions that you can accept, reject, or edit further.
The CBC Lesson Plan Generator creates KICD-compliant lesson plans with learning outcomes, competencies, PCIs, assessment methods, and differentiation strategies. It saves hours of manual lesson planning for Kenyan educators.
The Grammar Checker analyzes your text for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and style issues. It provides suggestions with explanations so you can learn from your mistakes. All processing is local — your text never leaves your device.
The Translator module supports translation between multiple languages using locally cached models. Translations are private and do not require sending text to cloud translation services.
Traditional AI tools send your prompts to cloud servers where large language models process them. Zilita's approach is different. When you first use an AI module, the underlying model is downloaded to your browser cache. This download happens once. After that, all inference runs locally on your device using WebAssembly for computation and WebGPU for hardware acceleration when available. Your prompts, text, and personal data are never transmitted over the network.
Open the AI Workspace from the Tools page. The first load may take a few seconds as AI models are initialized. Subsequent loads are faster because the models are cached. Select the module you need from the sidebar or cards, enter your text, adjust settings, and click the action button. Results appear instantly.
No. All AI processing runs locally in your browser. Your prompts, text, and generated content never leave your device.
The first time you use an AI module, the model files are downloaded and cached. This is a one-time download. Subsequent loads use the cached model and are much faster.
AI tools require a browser with WebAssembly support. Chrome, Edge, and Firefox are recommended. Safari has limited WebGPU support.
After the initial model download, many AI modules work offline. The Humanizer and Grammar Checker have the best offline support.
The Zilita Team builds privacy-first browser tools that help teachers, students, developers, businesses, and creators work more efficiently without sacrificing data privacy.
